Course Overview
Look & See programme is designed for preschool children aged 4–6 who are beginning their English learning journey. Through songs, stories, games, movement, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities, children develop confidence in understanding and using English in a fun, supportive environment.
The programme focuses on building listening and speaking skills while introducing everyday vocabulary and simple language through meaningful, age-appropriate themes. As children progress, they gain confidence communicating in English and develop the skills needed for a smooth transition to Look Starter.
Themes
Children explore familiar topics such as family, friends, colours, numbers, animals, food, toys, weather, seasons, and celebrations, helping them connect English with the world around them.
Language Objectives
Children learn everyday vocabulary, understand simple instructions, answer basic questions, and use familiar words and short phrases with increasing confidence.
Core Skills
The programme develops:
- Listening through songs, stories, rhymes, and classroom interaction.
- Speaking through games, role-play, and everyday communication.
- Pre-reading and pre-writing through picture-based and hands-on activities that prepare children for future literacy.
Learning Through Play
Every lesson combines language learning with movement, music, storytelling, and creative activities, making English enjoyable and memorable.
Assessment
Progress is monitored through continuous observation and classroom participation. Parents receive regular feedback on their child's language development, confidence, and readiness for the next stage of learning.
